My name is Kevin Roy,
I played my minor hockey in the Montreal region, but I moved near Quebec City so I could continue my education while playing hockey. I opted for the 3-year Prep School program at Académie St-Louis. I was the youngest player in the Secondary II program, and I joined Deerfield Academy in Connecticut after completing Secondary IV. I remained at Deerfield for two years, which helped me get noticed by many American universities. After visiting a few of them, I decided to pursue my career and my studies with my brother Derick at Northeastern University in Massachussets. After playing one year of junior hockey in the USHL, I will start at Northeastern in the spring. I do not have to declare a major before my third year at university, but I’m thinking about studying business. Although my main goal is to play professional hockey, it’s very important to me that I continue my studies for as long as I can. My 90% average demonstrates my capacity to succeed.
